BROWNIES
2 Squares unsweetened chocolate

C. Unsalted butter

C. Sugar
2 eggs, beaten
A
pinch of salt

C. flour
½
tsp. Baking Powder
1
tsp. Vanilla Extract
½
C. chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt
the chocolate and the butter in the top of a double boiler. Stir in the sugar
and the eggs. Put the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in the
flour mixture, a little at a time. Place in a greased 8” square pan. Bake for
30 minutes. Cool completely and cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies.
