Off to camp...the hard part
Today I took my daughter to sleep away camp for the first time and while it is hard to realize she is 10 and old enough to go, it was harder to iron on the name tags, since the instructions weren't clear on the temperature of the iron-- very, very hot for your knowledge. (The label company will remain nameless, but it will receive an email from me on this matter.)

Quirks and all
Since the saying goes "You can't change the person, you can only change your reaction to them," I think the standard wedding vows should read, "...in sickness and health and with all his/her flaws and quirks" and so going forward I plan every two weeks to clean out my husband's mail pile (which is on my radar and not his) and which is totally fine with me and my neatnik daughter.

Patience pays off
I haven't posted in a few days, since my daughter ordered a new desk from IKEA and I have been putting it together with my daughter until her impatience got the best of her and I patiently finished the assembly (I wish the pieces had been numbered to correspond with numbers in the instruction to make assembly easier)
