Tuesdays; Tip: Itchy Scalp

Make a paste out of lemon juice and baking soda. Rub on your wet scalp and let stand for 2 minutes and then rinse. Then rub Avocado oil, olive oil or coconut oil on your scalp.

I tried this home remedy and it worked great on my itchy scalp.

Im the Kitchen on Thursday: Recipe for an Apology of sorts

I want o apologize to my readers and followers for not keeping up with my blog of late—life got busy with the start of school, more clients, frizzy hair (that needed taming) and some personal needs that needed not be neglected any more and so now I am back in full force and ready to go.

(P.S. The main ingredient in an apology is honesty with a pinch or two of humility and humor.)

Tuesday's Tip: A deep condtioner from deep in the kitchen

Tuesday's Tip.....Mayonnaise can be used as a deep conditioner—let sit in just washed hair for 10 minutes, then rinse and style as usual (I use an olive oil mayonnaise or you can make your own... Mayo recipe)
